Thanks to everyone who join the RSS feed contest that I ran the last two weeks. I would label it a success and am now trying to hunt people down to give them their prizes. So far I have only given away two Beer Stocks. I included a video of the picking of the winners with Random.org and my excel spreadsheet of email addresses. Too bad the first bit of the video is a little choppy. I probably needed to restart my computer before recording, which I will do for the next time. If you see your name and email address as one of the winners of the contest and failed to get my email, check your spam. Or you could send me an email claiming your prize with the address you subscribed with. Here is the video.

What a crazy few days I have had. I moved out of one apartment and into another. I am sure most of you can sympathize with this sort of moving. I was going to have another post lined up for today but pushed it back because Max of Sitehoppin.com hooked me up with the first Beta Sitehoppin toolbar to test and try. So I did. I created a tutorial / sharing video about the toolbar and how it works. Max is starting it out by invite only until most the bugs are worked out. He has been kind enough to give me some of those invites. If you are interested, you should leave a comment here and say if you want to try it out. If not, your loss.

On another note, one of my contests ends today and there will be 10 winners of Beer Stocks (affiliate link for 25% discount), not one winner of 10 Beer Stocks. Sorry for any confusion. I am using the stock one on the webcam and it picks up a lot of white noise. I even tried to put a noise filter over it without any success. Anyone know of any noise canceling software like the BOSE headphones?

Everyone is in trouble now. RSS subscribers

Although I didn’t meet my goal of 100 subscribers by April 1, I did manage to hit the goal 4 days later on the 4th. I would like to thank everyone who has subscribed and say there is only one way to go, up, and we are on the ground floor. My next goal is 160 subscribers by the end of the month. Sitehoppin

I have had a couple posts about Sitehoppin this week to help promote the launch of all the new features, including an affiliate system. With that affiliate program, Max has offered a 2-tier setup, so you get paid 25% of net profit on sales and an additional 15% on sales by the person who buys from you. Rock on Max, way to make something good even better. I am up 4,650 visitors from Sitehoppin is 2 weeks.

Affiliate networks

I signed up with Pepperjam Network and Never Blue Ads in the last month and have reported 464 and 440 clicks respectively. Those 900 clicks have amounted to roughly $2 in leads / sales commissions. I will be exploring new campaigns and marketing and reporting all the results here. I started the way I did in order to establish a baseline and make sure both networks receive roughly the same traffic and clicks for commission comparison.
