Here is a video blog post I did about Why I Video Blog (click to watch). I explain some of my motives and reasoning for video blogging and why I recommend you do the same. I am not bashing any other forms of blogging, just elaborating on why I think video blogging will be exploding more in the future as well as some other reasons for pursuing video over traditional blogging.
I will be releasing a part II titled something totally different like How to Get Started in Video Blogging, or something lame like Video Blogging 101. JK. But really I think that video blogging is here to stay and will soon grow much more rapidly as mobile phones increase in power and Internet speeds.

As usually, nice post. I’ve been toying around with the idea of video blogging. I think the points of brand and copyright are great.. but I think my dork-factor-on-camera will be too high for me to swallow.
Side note, what camera do you use?

@Hanji, I use the kodak hd video camera zi6. I will be talking more about that in the upcoming vid. It is a cheap $150 HD video camera picked up from Wal-Mart with double batteries and additional accessories. Maybe an upgrade in the future but for now works well.
Cool. I was just looking at the Kodak Zi8. I have a Flip Mino HD, but I hate the lack of image stabilization.. and I see the Zi8 has it. I think the Zi6 is very similar to the Flip Mino HD
