@Chelle,The turkey trot sounds like a fun idea for marketing houses. Could give away free relationship consulting or perhaps individual/ custom Christmas cards to their special loved ones. I will think on that some more as I should be doing something similar.

I have to write a similar post for Upstart Our big things has been the "turkey trot" – give away free turkeys for touring houses ($10 gift card to the grocery stores). The email/cards are always a good idea, people love knowing you are thinking about them besides for reasons just to make $$$.

My "romantic Thanksgiving ideas" post is scheduled for tomorrow

Which reminds me, I want to give my blog subscribers a special Christmas present, that would be very cheap/free – but not too keen on the idea of an ebook. Any ideas?
