I would like to thank everyone who took the time to enter into the Unconventional Marketing business card design contest. I enjoyed seeing all of the different kinds designs and concepts that people came up with and entered. I would also like to say that it was a hard choice between a couple of the options, and I don’t like people going away empty handed so I am going to give 2,000 Entrecard credits to every who entered. I will be giving away prizes to everyone even though only one winner was chosen. Without further adieu, the winner is…
Jason from Blogtomic.com with this design:
The reason I chose this design was the simplicity that it offers. I really like the attention being primarily on the Name and Logo. Another aspect I liked was the vertical layout of the card design which is more unique than the average business card design. Thank you Jason and I have $50 coming your way.
Here are the other designs:
This was my close second choice. Designed by Chris Truman, taking the original design and reworking it to look much better. I never claimed to be a graphic artist. Had I the ability, my first design might have looked a lot like this.
Nadeesha Cabral of ROCKFUSE.com. Thanks again for the entry, I like the use of color and images.
Margaret Norkett of kemar-k9s.com. This was another one of my favorites, simple is key for me and Margaret kept the design simple and focused on the logo and name.
Achmad Zaenuri added some flare to the original design and changed up the font. I like seeing new fonts with the same design and the effects that it has.
Chelle Stein of It Might Be Love made the design even more simple and I love simple. She also had the business card in a PDF file already set up to to be printed 10 to a sheet. Nice! Thanks for making the comparison printing easier.
Last but not least… the honorable mention by Joe from FOOLSVILLE.net.
Honestly, I think that I am going to take a Rubik’s Cube and modify it to something like this. I might change the sides to have different colors of the same logo. Although if I do go through with this, I just might have to learn how to solve one of these puzzles.
Once again, I would like to thank everyone and let you know you won’t go away empty handed and congratulations to Jason for winning the $50 prize.
