I agree that I could do some more to livin things up. I did get certified for pyrotechnics in high school, but I don’t think my apt would like that. I will work on something.
I agree. 25 minutes is a long time to look at your mug
Try Camtasia or video clips to spicen things up, too.
BTW, my take on blogging is this: even subscribers and RSS readers means nothing if you don’t have responsiveness. A blog that sells advertising, such as yours, IMHO, is better off using stats such as CTR on ads. That’s the only way you’ll get repeat advertisers, and repeat advertisers = more advertisers and more valuable ad space. I kinda explained it briefly in my last blog post. (which if Comment Luv works correctly will lead you to).
Thanks for the tips on the splicing software I will be sure to check it out, in the mean time plans for circus clowns and elephants are in the works.
Bounce rate is not how long users stay on the page. It is just the percentage of users that click on links away from the page. Most blogs, because they have a lot of content of the front page, often have high bounce rates because a user doesn’t need to go deeper into the site to get more content. They read the front page and then move on. If a user spends 5 minutes reading the front page and then clicks away from the site, he is still considered a bounce.
