Well it looks like our friend Max of Zedomax.com was able to get an interview with blogger John Chow at the Adtech 2008 in San Fransisco. I am not sure how planned the interview was, but it is none the less entertaining. My favorite part is when John Chow admits to looking up to Darren Rowse of Problogger.net. This goes to prove that everybody looks up to somebody. Also there are some pretty good tips that Chow shares about blogging, life, family and building relationships. Check it out and feel free to share it.

and who better to look up to than Darren, he is a true professional. John chow is not the be all end all of mmo blogs. All he seems to write about is what he had for lunch.

Great article and thats a good video from John.
I broke all the rules (intentionaly) about a month ago to test for effect, I had just launched Popular Wealth and wanted to push every limit I could. After posting a comment that was basicaly a “you suck john” type of comment on his blog (on an article titled “embrace negative press”) to see what would happen… I GOT BANNED from his blog.
I don’t blame him either, but it doesn’t change that I think he’s a great guy. Rules are rules, I broke one to see what he would do and I paid for it.
Actually - I think writing a nasty comment on Johns blog got me banned over at shoemoney too. They were both promoting the “embrace bad press” thing at the time. Theres even more reason to not throw mud! lol
Wise men say - man who throws mud, loses ground. Nice post Josh.
