I call them blessing bags. I usually put the following ingredients in the bag. 1. canned meat 2. package of crackers & cheese (or peanut butter) 3. granola bar 4. bottle of water 5. box of raisins 6. can/cup of fruit 7. sm. bag of salted peanuts 8. napkin, plastic utensils, salt & pepper 9. prayer card I never have any money, so I used to feel bad when I passed up someone who was homeless. Now, I just pull to the side and honk. When the person comes to the window, I say, "Here is some food for you." I always get a "God Bless You" in return.
