I have the same complaints. I emailed the Spottt folks about the links back to porny sites, and they asked for those links and said they would review them. I wish we could approve the ads for our own websites, it would make Spottt much better. But I've only seen one click from three widgets, so….

I tried Spottt for a few minutes but the ads that appeared on my site were completely objectionable. Sheesh. I'm a mommy blog. I don't need to be reminded of what a 20 year old butt looks like. Sue's last blog post..Giveaway! Buff Dads

Josh, thanks for the great article. I looked at Spott and did not sign up because I could not control which ads appeared on my site. You confirmed my decision was a good one.

Yeah, I think Spottt basically put their website up and never updated.

The biggest problem is there's no customer support.

I leave a comment on their blog but noone replies.

But, now you can get Beer Widgets over at SiteHoppin.com.
